Head of Expressive Arts

Dalia graduated from AUC with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre and a Minor in English and Comparative Literature. She is a certified teacher and holds certificates in educational leadership.

Dalia started her journey in education as a TA in a nursery, followed by a reading specialist at an American school in Kuwait, a specialist English Teacher at a French school, a KS1 Class Teacher, a year six English Teacher, and finally the Head of Key Stage One for three years at the age of 26.

She joined Ethos International School in 2016;  as the Head of the Expressive Arts Department, combining her theatrical/musical background with her leadership skills.

In 2022 she assumed a new role as our school’s Deputy Headteacher in charge of our pupils Wellbeing as she is a strong advocate for helping remove the psychological and social and emotional barriers in any educational setting through specialized support as a key to developing a great learning environment where the child can thrive and become the best version of themselves.

She has been working in education for over 1years and is a highly trained professional actress/singer with over 20 years of performance experience. She also has experience in school marketing, events management, directing, drama coordination, acting coaching, and productions.

She has one daughter and enjoys quality family time, travelling, reading, writing and composing.

Dalia highly believes that an all-rounded diverse educational experience, particularly one that is immersed in domestic identity, shapes the foundations of a child’s personality and heightens their sense of humanity, responsibility, and respect towards humanity and the planet.
