Muhammad Salah
General Manager
Mr. Salah graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alexandria. He started his career by founding a construction company and an agricultural company for exports. He then established Rukan Preschool, and through Ethos International School, he continues to carry his personal vision of human development into all his projects, viewing the child as the raw material through which we can create change in our society today in order to serve our civil and humanitarian duties.
Youssra Rafaat

Mrs. Yousra graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Alexandria and was managing Rukan Preschool & Nursery from 2010 till 2018. She has a bright and clear vision to serve children using up-to-date techniques, a safe and friendly environment, and a high-quality workforce. She adopts very high standards when it comes to education, parent-school communication, and teacher performance. Striving to offer the child a very high level of care and development has always been her biggest pursuit.
Mai Moussad

Mrs. Mai received her BA from the American University in Cairo and later received her M.Ed from the American International College in Massachusetts.
She was a co-founder of Rukan Nursery and Preschool and Ethos International School. Ms. Mossad worked earlier in her career in a diversity of positions as an early childhood, elementary, and middle school Mathematics teacher in both the IB and American systems. She has also had more than 10 years of experience in management and teacher training, and development.
Esraa ElWeshahy
Deputy General Manager
Ms. Esraa Elweshahy holds a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Arts – English Section in 2004. She started her career in the education field as a Foundation teacher in an American school for 6 years. She discovered her passion for children and education, enriching her knowledge through several studies in positive education and positive discipline.
Ms. Elweshahy Joined Ethos in 2010; she began her journey in Ethos as a Preschool Teacher, then Rukan Academic Coordinator then Head of Rukan. Showing a great deal of professionalism and commitment, Ms. Esraa now serves as the Administration Head.
She brings over 10 years of administrative experience, assisting in the development and implementation of the organization’s policies and procedures; manages and oversees the administration of HR policies, programs, and practices within the organization; she also manages all the operations related to the following entities and departments: Rukan Nursery & Preschool, Admission Department, External Communication & Ethos Academy.
Mr. Esraa has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2018.

Sharon Kerlin
Head Teacher
Ms. Sharon brings over 35 years of professional experience, including 10 years in senior leadership roles within international schools across Egypt. In addition to her educational leadership experience, she has worked with major global organizations such as the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Samsung, and the Metropolitan Police Service.
Doaa Tohfa
Assistant Head Teacher Of Early years & Lower Primary
Ms. Tohfa graduated from Commerce, English section, Ain Shams University. She spent her early years learning in an American School, and then completed her IGs in a British School. She is a mother of three children who have inspired her to pursue her career in the education field. She has had 11 years of experience teaching early years and holds a Master’s Degree in Special and Inclusive Education from the University College of London. Ms.Tohfa joined Rukan Nursery and Pre-school in 2012, and then joined Ethos International School when it started.

Assistant Head Teacher for Teaching & Learning
Ms. Afifi graduated from the Faculty of Al Alsun (English Department) and is a CELTA-certified teacher. She successfully completed a diploma in Applied Linguistics. And she has more than ten years of teaching experience. Ms.Iman Afify has joined our team with more than 6 years of experience in international education, and has been part of the Ethos family for the past 3.5 years as a Key Stage 2 teacher and Deputy
Batoul Helmy
Ms. Helmy earned her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in psychology from the American University in Cairo. Studying psychology as her minor back then planted the seed for all her upcoming endeavors. In 2017, she obtained her master’s degree in International and Comparative Education, specializing in teaching and learning with a focus on Early Childhood Care and Education from the American University in Cairo.

Mrs. Iman Ali AbouEl-Seoud was born and raised in Alexandria. Her professional background is deeply rooted in education, leadership, and counseling. Over the past 20 years, she has held various positions in schools, starting as a teacher assistant (TA) and progressing to become a School Principal in an accredited IPC school.

Dr. Germin Sherief shares her extensive journey as a dedicated educator, characterised by a sincere commitment to excellence. A graduate of Cairo University’s Dentistry College, Dr. Germin brings a wealth of teaching experience spanning over two decades, contributing to the collective knowledge of the education sector. With a Professional Educators Diploma from the American University in Cairo (AUC).
Nohha Emad
Ms. Nohha, our Character Education Consultant, has more than 16 years of work experience in character education and Counseling. Ms. Nohha has received her M.Ed. from the American University in Cairo, along with an MS in Applied Psychology from Middlesex University, London. She is a certified Character Education Specialist with a certification from the University of San Diego.
Laila Niazy
Ms. Niazy graduated from the Faculty of Economics & Political Science, English Section, from Cairo University. However, she has been working in the field of special education since 2005. Ms. Niazy started as an English & Social Studies special education teacher for three years at Misr Language Schools/American Division, then was promoted to become the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) for middle school at the same school.

Coach Magdy holds a B.A. from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports and a Higher Diploma in sports injuries from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. He is currently the Head of Physical Education at Ethos International School.
