The Arab Creativity Festival

  • The Arab Creativity Festival is based on a competitive contest in poetry and prose recitation in Classical Arabic across international schools in various governorates of Egypt. It is the first festival of its kind in the Arab Republic of Egypt, sponsored by Ethos International School in El Sheikh Zayed.
  • The judging panel consists of a neutral committee that includes a university professor, a theater director, a writer, a journalist, and a broadcaster.

Festival Mission:

  • Preserving the Arab identity and instilling its values in students.

Main Educational Objectives:

  • Inspiring students to love their Arabic language.
  • Presenting purposeful educational content in an interactive and competitive format.
  • Improving students’ language levels across different stages and developing their linguistic skills.
  • Training students in public speaking and the use of various expressive tools.
  • Encouraging a spirit of fair competition among students.
  • Expanding communication and understanding between schools and students while fostering a spirit of constructive cooperation.

Participating Educational Stages:

  • From year 4 up to year 9.

Main Activities and Performances:

  • Each student recites either a poem or a prose passage that aligns with the agreed criteria in front of the jury and the audience. Additionally, some students may participate outside of the competition in singing or theatrical performances.
