Expressive Arts
We encourage our pupils to explore their own creativity and to theoretically and practically design and deliver expressive arts in a variety of surrounding circumstances. Among the curricular objectives is being able to perform for an audience and have the confidence to present in public.
What differentiates our arts program from others is that it is always intertwined with local identity. The pupils get to explore international artists and artists from the region equally. A true artist expresses what they know best, and without the pupils knowing and understanding their own culture, roots, and identity first, they will never fully grow to understand or appreciate their world on a global level.

Music
We also believe Music is not only an enjoyable subject but also one that can enrich pupils’ lives and education. Music learning increases craftsmanship, increases coordination, and helps build imagination and intellectual curiosity.
The National Curriculum framework for Music aims to ensure that all pupils:
- Perform, listen to, review, and evaluate music across a range of historical periods, genres, styles, and traditions, including the works of the great composers and musicians.
- Learn to sing and to use their voices, to create and compose music on their own and with others, have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument, use technology appropriately and have the opportunity to progress to the next level of musical excellence.
- Understand and explore how music is created, produced, and communicated, including through the inter-related dimensions: pitch, duration, dynamics, tempo, timbre, texture, structure and, appropriate musical notations.
