The 2022-2023 school year marks her 22nd year in education. She received her international teacher training certificate –PGCPP from Liverpool Hope University after graduating from Ain Shams University. She has also served in many schools in Egypt and Dubai as an educator and a leader. In the past 9 years, she has been working with Gems UAE as an educator and middle leader. She has always felt at home as a “Mathematician” in her classroom. However, her position as a Head of Secondary gives her the chance to work collaboratively with teachers on a daily basis, while always remaining connected with youths learning and growing in the school. She firmly believes that every child can excel and that the partnership & harmony between home and school builds confidence in the pupils to use their powers to shape their future and the future of our community. She aspires to foster an environment of safety and a sense of belonging for each child, as well as supporting pupils to take responsibility for their own learning. Developing a positive culture in our school is paramount to the success of each learner. Her goal for this academic year is to develop the pupils’ higher–order thinking skills such as applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating rather than depending on memorization and recall.
